College students are an essential part of our church family, so we want Northstar to feel like "home" in an intentional way to help students get connected to other members of the body of Christ, facilitate their connection and growth in the local church, and provide a sense of belonging among God's people. Designed to help with just that, our Home Away from Home initiative encourages Northstar members to "be the church" by regularly inviting college students into their homes and lives to share a meal, wisdom, and simply do life together.

At the Home Away from Home dinner, students and adult Northstar members who have signed up to participate in the program will have an opportunity to meet the individuals they will be paired with for the year, share their first meal together courtesy of Northstar College Ministry, and hear about opportunities to grow deeper in fellowship together.

Registration is required--please RSVP to let us know you are coming so we can plan for food and facilitating partner communication. Childcare is also available for church families upon request on the registration page.
