Interns
Part-Time (12-15 hours/week)
The Intern Ministry at Northstar Church is seeking interns who will provide assistance to Northstar Staff in a broad range of ministry areas. Interns will develop as leaders and experience a wide range of ministry opportunities, weekly tasks, and relationship broadening that will enable them to understand how a church functions and prepare them to “be the church” in another church when they transition from Blacksburg.

Financial & HR Secretary
Part-Time (Not to exceed 29 hours/week)
Northstar Church is seeking a Financial & HR Secretary to manage accounting, financial reporting, and HR support functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring our mission to “be the church” is supported through diligent financial stewardship and effective HR administration. Must be profieint with QuickBooks and accounting practices.
Hospitality Coordinator
Part-time (not to exceed 29 hours)
Northstar Church is seeking a Hospitality Coordinator who will serve by developing and overseeing teams that will help Northstar demonstrate hospitality so others can see Jesus more clearly. The Hospitality Coordinator will manage Sunday morning teams, oversee facility usage by groups inside and outside Northstar, and coordinate facility maintenance in conjunction with the Building & Grounds Team.
Youth Ministry Assistant
Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
Northstar Church is seeking a youth ministry assistant to help run all youth-related activities and support the youth ministry vision of "Forming Lifelong Disciples of Jesus." The youth ministry assistant will help plan and run weekly youth meetings, with an emphasis on the administration of scheduling volunteers, communications, and logistics of and attending all events, camps, retreats. They will also support the ministry by leading a small group on Wednesday nights and developing discipling relationships with youth and families.
