Grand Connect is our monthly gathering for anyone 50+.
Life experience and joy required!
No membership is required! Just come ready to laugh, share, eat and build friendships. Not only do we have a blast together, but we are actively involved in blessing and serving our church and community.
Usually monthly gatherings at the building, outside, or at someone's home. Often one of us will take a turn leading a short discussion or presentation - on most any topic. Bring a snack to share!
We are here to support one another. If you need prayer, or a ride, or a meal, please reach out. We are here for you!
Grand Connect is actively involved in our community and within Northstar. We have many opportunities to serve alongside one another to support and care for others.

Ronnie Bluey
I am 68, have 10 grandkids and have been married to Dave Bluey for 40 years , We have 3 children and have moved to Blacksburg from Pittsburgh,PA. 15 years ago. We paid out of state tuition for 2 of our 3 children to come to VT . Dave teaches in the business dept. at VT and I teach fitness classes in Blacksburg.

Paul and I are VA Tech grad returnees, former owners of the local New Life Christian stores and have children in D.C., Manhattan and San Jose. I'm a part-time Property Manager, and Imaginations Toy store helper. You'll often find me with a cup of tea in my hand!
