We celebrated Easter Sunday in John 16. Pastor Jeff Noble spoke about Jesus’ preparation of the disciples for His death and resurrection so that they would not “fall away.” The passage also encourages Christians to rely upon the Holy Spirit, and to embrace a love relationship with the Father rather than a duty-bound commitment to God as a heavenly CEO. The message concludes with what it means to have spiritual power and what makes God smile.
