Northstar is now offering an online support group! There is no doubt that 2020 has been challenging and just plain hard. As a result of hardship, it is so easy feel alone and not sure where to turn. In response to the spiritual and emotional needs of our church family, we are offering an online support group.
The purpose of this online platform is to create a safe place to share and fellowship with others who are seeking support. Scripture will be the basis for the meetings and the purpose will be for fellowship to share hardships and find joy in these uncertain times. Please know that the names of participants in this group and all discussions will remain confidential.
We will have our first meeting via zoom on Tuesday December 1st at 7pm. All meetings will be on Tuesdays from 7-7:50pm on a biweekly basis. This is an open invitation group so anyone is welcome, but there is no pressure to continue attending if you find it isn’t what you are looking for. A second meeting is scheduled for December 15th, during which we will gauge the need for another meeting before the new year.
