Today, we pray for an increased love for God’s Word. God’s Word is His revelation of Himself to us, and it is the ultimate source of truth and wisdom. Whether it is for our lives personally, or for Northstar as we consider future opportunities for ministry, we need to be firmly rooted in the Word of God and have every decision be rooted there as well.

Prayer
- Pray for an increase in your love for the Word of God.
- Pray that the Holy Spirit would use the Word to convict, encourage, and direct you.
- Pray that your speech would be “well-seasoned” and that the Holy Spirit would bring to mind the truths of God’s Word in opportunities to encourage and counsel others.
- Pray against temptations that would lead you away from loving the Word.
- Pray that the members of Northstar would grow as “People of the Word,” and that we would be guided by God’s wisdom as revealed in His Word.
