D28 Discipleship Ministry

May 8, 2014

d28-600In Northstar’s continual endeavor to see disciples made, matured, and multiplying we are announcing a new discipleship program called D28. The name, D28 comes from our motto, “think 28”, which is derived from Matthew 28:18-20 and Colossians 1:28. These passages emphasize the importance of seeing people come to faith in Christ and also continuing to help one another grow to maturity in Christ, which is a high priority for our church.

Through teaching of how to live out the Scriptures, building Christ-founded relationships, and modeling ministry, the D28 groups will see each other grow to further maturity and in turn see each other invest back out in others.

The D28 Discipleship Ministry is a five month intensive, leader-led group (2-3) discipleship process which will start in October. If you are interested in participating in a D28 group you can fill out the online interest form on the discipleship ministry web page or come visit our D28 table on Sunday. For any questions email Adam.
