We had a FANTASTIC intern team at Northstar this summer! Emily Neihoff, Lindsey Armentrout, Rachel Christian, Lindsay de Gastyne, Andrew Tedd, Mitch Colston, and Andrew Cook all contributed to the daily, inner workings of the church as well as our big events like BIG Small Group and Kids Camp. They served in a variety of ministries according to their gifts and gr
ew spiritually through discipleship and leadership. As we transition into the fall, many of them are leaving Blacksburg for college, missions, and career opportunities.
We are seeking new interns, and currently accepting applications, for Northstar’s one-year program.
A year of working at Northstar gives participants exposure and insight to working in ministry and helps them discern their own unique calling for the future. If you are a college student or recent graduate and are looking for ways to experience ministry first-hand and grow in your gifts, then we would love to invite you to be a part of our fun staff team!
Interested individuals should download the intern packet describing the purpose, terms, qualifications, and additional benefits of being an intern at Northstar. The packet also includes the application, which you can turn in to the church office at the Ministry Center (200 Country Club Drive SW, Suite D-1) or email it.
