Missions Team

“Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:18-20)

“You will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son.” (John 3:16)

These familiar words of Jesus remind us that to be his follower is to have a global heart. Northstar has always been a church with a global heart because the leadership of our church has always had a global heart. But the transient nature of our context makes keeping a team, willing to invest in helping the staff with missions, challenging.

Recently, our Missions Team leader and most of the team members transitioned away from the NRV. Therefore, it is time to begin a “new” team. If you are interested in being a part of a team which will serve Northstar by planning, promoting, and executing missions please e-mail Neal Nelson. The team will begin meeting in mid January to get to know one another, pray, and plan.  Thanks for Being The Church!
