DIG IN This Sunday!

We cannot begin to describe how excited we are this week as we approach Sunday’s DIG IN Celebration with a 15th anniversary Homecoming and a Groundbreaking service on our Prices Fork property! We hope that you, too, share in that excitement and plan on joining us Sunday morning!

Sunday promises to be an eventful and busy morning. To help make things run smoothly, here are a few basic instructions for all who are planning to attend:

  1. Arrive Early – The service itself begins at our normal time of 10:00 a.m. However, we must also take into consideration the time it will take to shuttle folks from Blacksburg Middle School to the Northstar land. We ask that you plan to begin arriving at the middle school at 9:00 a.m. to allow us to have that extra time prior to beginning the service.
  2. Plan to Participate in the Prayer Walk – Since many of you will be arriving at the land with plenty of time to spare before our service begins, we ask that you participate in the prayer walk on the land. You will be able to walk around the footprint of our future Ministry Center and pray for various aspects of the building process.
  3. Photo Booth – Make a point to have your picture taken at our photo booth. We want to send you your picture as a reminder to continually pray for Northstar throughout the building process.
  4. Bring a Blanket – During our lunch together at Blacksburg Middle School following the Groundbreaking service, we will have access to the cafeteria to sit and eat. However, we also have access to the courtyard area outside where we will have a number of activities set up for your family to enjoy, and you are welcome to bring a blanket and picnic in that area as well.
