College

Northstar Church opens its doors each Sunday morning to college students from all around the New River Valley. Virginia Tech, Radford University, and New River Valley Community College are all represented. College students find opportunities to enjoy a more contemporary style of worship, get involved in small groups for students or ones that are multi-generational, and participate in a variety of ministries and missions.

Northstar’s vision is to involve, inspire, and equip collegians. We do this by offering a variety of opportunities for service inside the church, by helping students find mentors and spiritual leaders to model their lives after, and by introducing students to a variety of challenging ministries and mission events.

Ministries

Worship Schedule

We are currently on our "school" schedule for Sunday morning worship. There are two morning services: 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. There is one evening service: 6:00 p.m. We meet at Blacksburg High School on 3109 Prices Fork Road.

There is full children's ministry at the 9:00: nursery, preschool and toddler and Jumpstart (K-5). At the 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. services, there is nursery provided for birth through age 5.
